Our proposed theme for the conference is "Globalization and Tourism: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities". This theme is particularly relevant in today's rapidly changing world, where businesses and destinations are facing new challenges and opportunities brought about by globalization, technological advancements, and changing consumer behavior.

We invite submissions of research papers, case studies, and panel proposals that address topics related to the theme, such as:

  • Globalization and its impact on tourism destinations
  • Cross-cultural issues in international tourism and hospitality
  • Sustainability and responsible tourism practices in a global context
  • Tourism policy and governance in the era of globalization
  • Emerging trends and technologies in global tourism

The conference will provide a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange ideas and best practices, and to network with colleagues from around the world. We are planning to include keynote speeches, panel discussions, and paper presentations, as well as social and networking events.

Here are some guidelines for conference collaboration with the International Business and Tourism Society:

  1. Purpose: The purpose of the conference should align with the mission and goals of the International Business and Tourism Society, which include promoting research and scholarship in the fields of international business and tourism, fostering collaboration and networking among scholars and practitioners, and disseminating knowledge and best practices.

  2. Theme and Tracks: The conference theme and tracks should be developed in consultation with the International Business and Tourism Society to ensure they align with the society's areas of interest and expertise.

  3. Call for Papers: The International Business and Tourism Society should be included in the distribution of the Call for Papers to its members and other relevant contacts to encourage participation and submissions.

  4. Review Process: The International Business and Tourism Society should be invited to participate in the review process of submitted papers, either through assigning reviewers or serving on the program committee.

  5. Keynote Speakers: The International Business and Tourism Society may provide suggestions for keynote speakers or panelists who can contribute to the conference theme and share insights on current trends and developments in the field.

  6. Promotion: The International Business and Tourism Society should be recognized as a collaborator and included in all promotional materials, including the conference website, program, and proceedings.
